Rhe Adams
Rhe Adams is the Membership Vice President/Board Chairman for the Columbia
Jaycees. In the past she has served the Jaycees in the following positions: Public Relations Director (Columbia Jaycees, 2003) Management Vice President (Columbia Jaycees, 2004) President (Columbia Jaycees, 2005), Programming Vice President (SC Jaycees, 2006), Communications Manager (SC Jaycees, 2007).
Rhe is the design, print and ship manager for Office Depot on Harbison. She attended Gardner-Webb
University and began her career at Cleveland County American Red Cross in Shelby, NC where she worked as the Marketing and Youth Director for the chapter. Rhe was recognized as a leader in her field for nonprofit training for the American Red Cross and spent the next six years moving from chapter to chapter within NC and SC training each chapter's staff to recruit volunteers and increase revenue for their chapter through safety training. While working with the American Red Cross, Rhe was able to assist on National Disaster Assignments such as the World Trade Center disaster in New York City, wildfires in California, tornadoes in Oklahoma, mudslides in Guam, and Hurricanes Fran, Floyd and Andrew. In addition to the American Red Cross, she has worked with the SC Chapter National Safety Council and OfficeMax, Inc in sales and marketing positions. In addition to the Jaycees, Rhe is also a member of the Columbia Action Council, a diplomat with the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. She was recognized in 2006 as the Columbia Chamber's Diplomat of the Year. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Rhe says her favorite aspect of the Jaycees is giving back to the community through community service efforts such as the Very Special Christmas Party. Rhe currently resides in Irmo with her roommates Tracy and Rhonda.
