|Who we are|
Since 1935 the Jaycees have help shape the development of young business professionals in the Midlands area. By focusing in the areas of Community, Individual, Management, and Member we help our members grow personally and professionally.

|Community|
We focus our attention on making Columbia a better place to live through our community service projects. Annually we sponsor a bachelor/bachelorette auction and oyster roast to benefit various charities.  We are active in other community fundraisers and events to include Relay for Life and March for Meals. We truly believe in supporting our surrounding community in the midlands for the greater benefit of all.

|Individual|
We focus on the individual to help develop you into a more complete person. We provide networking with members and other individuals to make professional contacts in Columbia. We also strive to enhance public speaking and communication skills that prove beneficial in the business world. Last but not least, many lifelong friendships are formed while working with others.

|Management|
We strive to make you a better manager. Through our fundraising and social events we teach you how to plan and execute your tasks to make your projects successful.  From organizing a small gathering to running a successful community fundraiser, you would have the chance to grow and learn. As a non-profit we run our chapter like a business. We plan, budget, and execute our visions, tasks, and goals in every activity we do to keep the chapter successful.

We always focus on YOU! Our members are the center and driving force of our organization. We encourage all members to participate in all the core areas to promote a well rounded individual.
